These terms are designed to ensure that our specialized gear remains safe, reliable, and available for everyone in the Wheelable Wilderness community. By following these respectful guidelines, you help us maintain a program that serves all participants with dignity and care.
We view this agreement as a mutual commitment between our organization and the people we serve. Together, we protect these resources so that every adventurer, regardless of their mobility, can experience the threshold of the wild without barriers.
Individual User Guidelines
Safety & Use
- Use equipment only as instructed by staff
- Follow all posted park safety guidance
- Only use equipment in designated accessible areas
Care & Communication
- Report any damage or concerns immediately
- Clean debris from equipment after use
- Respect staff decisions regarding terrain safety
Logistics
- Return equipment promptly by the agreed time
- Notify partners if you are running late
- Ensure all components are returned together

Your Responsibility
- Ensuring safe and appropriate use of all borrowed gear throughout the loan
- Practicing diligent care to protect equipment for future community members
- Reporting any damage, issues, or safety concerns immediately to our team
- Maintaining timely communication regarding pickup, returns, and any changes
For Partner Organizations
We partner with parks, nonprofits, and event hosts to bring adventure to more people. To ensure a professional and safe program, we ask our partners to honor the following commitments during any equipment loan.
Supervision & Safety
Organizations must provide adequate personnel to supervise equipment use and ensure all participants follow safety protocols provided by Wheelable Wilderness.
Secure Storage
When not in use, equipment must be stored in a dry area or covered with a tarp to protect specialized components from weather.
Incident Reporting & Logistics
Report any damage or safety concerns immediately. Partners are responsible for honoring agreed pickup and return times to maintain our community schedule.
